TARWEED SEEDS

Wooden bowl turned on a lathe
Come see us at the Corvallis Farmers Market on October 4th and learn about building with mud!

With the fall equinox around the corner, we see the acorns starting to drop, mushrooms popping up from forest floors, and beloved Oregon rainbows appearing more and more as we celebrate the return of rain (sweet rain!).

This fall marks one of our biggest seasonal lineups of classes to date, and it is so exciting to witness the many registrations coming in, across a variety of classes. There are still spots left in a number of classes and you can read below to see availability.

It is the peak of summer, with the earthy aroma of Madia elegans (common tarweed) in the fields, and the acorns beginning to form on the oak trees all across the Willamette Valley. The days are noticeably shortening, and fruit is ripening faster than we can pick it (or preserve it!). We are grateful to everyone who participated in our spring and summer happenings, and we are excited to be able to announce a full list of classes and special events from September through November - open for registration today!

It is a bustling season for Tarweed around town! We have been hosting classes, tabling at the Corvallis Farmers Market, building new workbenches for classes, and getting the word out across the Valley. And next weekend is our big summer event: an Open House to celebrate our new home and the opening of Wade Hardware!

Read on to learn about more classes - (some still with openings) and other events!
