Margot Schwarz
Corvallis, Oregon

Margot is passionate about food systems, full-circle soil-to-plate education, and on all the contexts that help shape what and how we eat. She grew up surrounded by cooking and food processing on a homestead with sheep, ducks and chickens. She has worked in many aspects of the food system, including as a farmer tending to both rural and urban farms, in kitchens as a cook, and as a culinary educator for all ages. She holds a degree in Sustainable Food and Farming from UMass Amherst and her interests within regenerative farming relate to animal husbandry, especially ruminants like cows, sheep and goats. She is an eager learner and enjoys spending time outdoors and in community in her free time!
