DAIRY GOATS AND CHEESEMAKING BASICS

Come learn all about dairy goat husbandry and how to make fresh chèvre cheese! As a class, students will make and take home fresh chèvre flavored to their choosing, after learning the basics of milking a Nubian doe. Come prepared with clothes that can get dirty, an 8oz jar to take home your chèvre, and eager to learn all about how wonderful dairy goats are.


Age Requirement: this class is for adults and youth 16+. Please note: participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian also registered for the class to participate.

Tuition: $60

Materials fee: $40

Students bring: clothes that can get dirty, water bottle, 8oz clean glass jar.
