Duncan is a woodworker, with a focus on greenwood chairmaking. Duncan loves helping others learn to transform logs into chairs using traditional tools and techniques in a process that feels like alchemy. In addition to woodworking one of Duncan's other great passions is chocolate making. In a previous career they worked for a number of chocolate businesses in Portland while also traveling abroad to the Caribbean and Pacific to help cocoa growers make chocolate from their beans. These days Duncan mostly makes chocolates for friends and family, and is excited to share his knowledge on the topic with others.
