TARWEED SEEDS

Hand-drawn green and red folk design with a Tarweed flower in the center

Join us for our first Tarweed Folk School Winter Holiday Market, December 14th, 2024! The event will run from 10am to 4pm at 400 SW 2nd St, Corvallis, OR 97333 (formerly Robnett's Hardware) in downtown Corvallis.

We are hosting this market to celebrate the 2nd year of Tarweed Folk School, and also to encourage support for our community's makers and artists!

Margot and her pizza at a Tarweed pizza potluck. Looks delicious!

Over the next few weeks, we will share numerous ways you can support the folk school and we hope you'll enjoy learning a bit more about our Steering Committee and why they're excited to be a part of our community.

This week, it is Margot Schwarz's turn to share a story that connects to why she is a part of Tarweed Folk School!

In September we had a beautiful weekend of weaving baskets, carving spoons, repairing bikes (and more!), bringing an end to our second year of classes here in the Willamette Valley. Now the rains have come, we’re reflecting on the past and envisioning a future for Tarweed Folk School.

As we move into our third year, will you support us in the next chapter in Tarweed Folk School’s story?
