WREATH MAKING

Make your very own unique and gorgeous wreath from foraged natural materials! Students will be guided through the wreath-making process step-by-step, and may choose to put together a traditional circular wreath, garland, centerpiece, or other creation. If time allows, students may make more than one wreath or garland, and continue experimenting with texture, color, and shape.
Class Details
Age Requirement: this class is for adults and youth 14-17 if their parent or guardian is also registered for the class.
Location: Wade Hardware (400 SW 2nd St)
Students bring: a small pair of wire cutters and strong garden shears. Gardening gloves are recommended for working with evergreen boughs. Evergreen foliage and other dried botanicals will be provided, however, students are encouraged to forage and bring evergreen branches, berries or other natural materials from home to supplement what is provided by the class.

Accessibility note: this class can be taken from a seated or standing position and will require hand dexterity and strength to wire wrap tightly around your greenery.
