RIBBED WILLOW BASKETRY

WITH ELI AND BEN GOODWIN

Saturday, November 7th, 2026

9:00am - 5:00pm

In this class, students will be guided through the process of weaving a ribbed basket from willow. Utilizing whole shoots and skeins for the weavers, and split ribs, this basket will demonstrate how to use a wide range of willow sizes. The hoops will be pre-formed and dried to ease the assembly of the basket. Students’ finished baskets will measure roughly 12”x 12”.
