PRESERVING APPLES
WITH ALEXANDER ENRIQUEZ
Sunday, October 11th, 2026
9:00am - 2:30pm
Come enjoy a fall day at Bald Hill Farm and learn to preserve the bounty of apples! We will begin with sampling several kinds of apples and discussing traditional uses for different varieties. This class will cover how to make applesauce and apple butter, use a water bath canner, and make dried apples using your car as a simple solar oven. We’ll also press fresh apple cider and take some time at the end of class to sample our work.
