MEND YOUR JEANS
WITH XANDER ENRIQUEZ
Sunday, March 1st, 2026
9:00am - 12:00pm
Are your favorite jeans showing some wear? Learn to repair blue jeans using patches, functional embroidery, and a mixture of hand and machine sewing. Whether the problem is holey knees, fraying edges, or - dare we say - a splitting crotch, this class has you covered.
Topics will include running stitch, blanket stitch, sashiko embroidery, and basic sewing machine operation. Students should bring one pair of well-loved jeans to repair in class. Please note that techniques learned in this class are suitable for mid to heavyweight, non-stretchy fabrics (sorry, no jeggings).
