NATURALLY DYE & ECO PRINT A MARKET BAG
WITH CHRIS BENTLEY
We will learn about natural dyes and eco printing by dyeing an organic cotton market bag in the morning; then in the afternoon we’ll gather plant materials, and print their images on our dyed bags, using heat and pressure. The resulting creation will be useful, washable, and beautiful. Students will leave with a new understanding of local botany and the rich history of bio-based dyes - ways to build meaningful connections with the natural world.
