KNITTING FOR BEGINNERS
WITH SADIE LIFTON
Two Saturday afternoons, November 14th & 21st, 2026
1:00 - 4:00pm, each class day
Learn to knit for the first time and complete a pair of fingerless gloves with a thumbhole. We will focus on learning and refining the basic knit stitch as well as beginning and ending a project. We will work with chunky wool yarn and create a practical item that will be useful for many seasons!



Class Details
Age Requirement: this class is for adults and youth 12-17 if their parent or guardian is also registered for the class.
Location: Wade Hardware (400 SW 2nd St)
Students bring: all tools and materials provided. Lighting in the classroom can be dim, students may wish to bring a headlamp for detail work.
Tuition: $90
Materials fee: $40

Accessibility note: independent movement of fingers required and enough grip strength to write with a pencil.
