We are excited to offer a full weekend of classes in both May and July, taught by skilled local educators, craftspeople, scientists, tradespeople, small business owners, and members of our Willamette Valley communities. Today, we are opening our MAY classes for registration. Read below to see a full list of classes by date, or visit our website to view classes by category and register today!

In 2023, Tarweed hosted about 30 classes, taught by two dozen fantastic teachers! In 2024, we want to offer a similar volume of classes, this time spread across the seasons, beginning with our first weekend of classes on May 11th and 12th. Our 2024 season will continue with classes on July 20th and 21st. We plan on hosting classes in the Fall as well and there will be more details on those dates in a future newsletter.

Tarweed Folk School is looking for volunteer help to assist with classes, help spread the word, and perform other key tasks to run our class weekends this summer.

If you are excited about our folk school and would like to support us through volunteer efforts, please let us know!
