TARWEED SEEDS

To hands patting a mound of dirt to make a mud oven.
Kiko demonstrating how to build a mud oven in his Mud Ovens in a Day class (July, 2024).

This week, Kiko Denzer shares why he is a part of the folk school and why supporting the folk school matters. Kiko is one of Tarweed's co-founders and a keystone to Tarweed's soul. He is our pizza potluck pizza master, a skilled mud and wood-worker, and community-building extraordinaire.

Read more to find his storytelling series entry, as well as information on our upcoming Winter Holiday Market and our downtown Footwise window display!.

Over the next few weeks, we will share numerous ways you can support the folk school and we hope you'll enjoy learning a bit more about our Steering Committee and why they're excited to be a part of our community.

This week, it is Margot Schwarz's turn to share a story that connects to why she is a part of Tarweed Folk School!
