Marcía has taught a variety of ecology topics in the field, lab, and classroom settings. She became interested in birds during the time she has lived in the Willamette Valley. She also enjoys eating the abundance of berries and fruits produced here. Marcía loves birding with her family and can often be seen walking around Southtown with a pair of binoculars around her neck.
