WEAVING WITH WILLOW BARK

WITH DEB CURTIS

This class is not currently bring offered.

Willow bark has wonderful variation in color from the inner side to the bark side. You will start by plaiting an all willow bark narrow mat tucking in the edges as you weave it. Color patterns can be free form or planned depending on your willow strips. After the mat is completed you will use waxed linen to sew on solid willow pieces to make the sides.

Age Requirement: this class is for adults 18 and older.

Location: Bald Hill Farm
