Students will learn how to split freshly cut logs, process the wood into blanks with an axe and saw, and practice several traditional carving grips with a carving and hook knife to whittle their own, handmade spoon. All tools, including safety gloves, will be provided in the class, and students will take home a finishing kit so their spoon is kitchen-ready.
Age Requirement: This class is for adults and youth 12 and above. Please note: ages 12-17 must have a parent or guardian also registered for the class to participate.
