WOODCARVING WEEK TO WEEK
WITH ROSE HOLDORF
Students meet Wednesday evenings for four weeks, learning about green wood and carving spoons, chopsticks, spreaders, and more! Splitting apart material from freshly cut logs, students will learn to process and carve green wood using axes, froes, sloyd knives, hook knives, gouges, drawknives, shaving horses, and other tools. This is a great class for anyone wanting to hone their skills and develop an enduring practice of woodcarving.
