BUILD A MODERN COATRACK

WITH NAT STEIN

Combine design and function in this class to make a sleek and modern rack with flip down hooks for hanging coats and bags. Students will use power tools and explore techniques like dowel making, bevels, continuous grain, and using jigs to repeat steps reliably. Each student will take home their own rack.


Age Requirement: this class is for adults and youth 14-17. Youth 10-13 can participate if their parent or guardian is present (parent or guardian is not required to register separately).


Location: Highland Woodshop

Please note: you will be directed to a Square link to finalize your registration.


Students bring: all materials and safety equipment will be provided. Please wear close fitting clothes, close toed shoes and tie up long hair. You may bring your own eye and ear protection if you wish.


Accessibility note: standing for 2+ hours, remaining calm when using heavy, machinery. Loud, abrupt noises will occur during the class.
