NATURALLY DYE & ECO PRINT A MARKET BAG

WITH CHRIS BENTLEY

We will learn about natural dyes and eco printing by dyeing an organic cotton market bag, then gather plant materials, and print their images on the dyed cotton, using heat and pressure. The resulting bag will be useful, washable, and a conversation starter.


Age Requirement: this class is for adults and youth 8 and above. Please note: ages 8-17 must have a parent or guardian also registered for the class to participate.​

Please note: you will be directed to a Square link to finalize your registration.


Students bring: gloves, aprons, scissors and/or plant snips, and wear sturdy shoes and clothes suitable for messy fun. Clipboard and pen, you’ll want to take notes. Bring your lunch, we’ll eat during a discussion and slide show.


Accessibility note: Majority of the class activities will be performed from a standing position, but accomodations can be made as requested.
