MAKE A DROP SPINDLE LEARN TO SPIN
WITH SHALISSE MILLISON
Students will craft their own wooden drop spindle and begin learning to spin their own yarn. We will discuss spindle mechanics, fiber types, carding, and fiber preparation as a starting point. Students will take home a variety of samples to keep them going after class. Come and explore this ancient, portable, meditative art!
Age Requirement: this class is for adults and youth 12 and above. Please note: ages 12-17 must have a parent or guardian also registered for the class to participate.
