BUILD YOUR OWN TIERED BOOK TREE

WITH KATHERINE EDMONDS

Each student will build a small angled bookshelf. Students will learn machining and woodworking skills including material selection, milling, angled cuts on the table saw and cutting basic dado joinery. They will take home a fully assembled bookshelf with a finish kit to apply a basic finish at home.


Age Requirement: this class is for adults 18 years of age and older.


Location: Highland Woodshop

Students bring: close toed shoes and sturdy work wear.


Accessibility note: standing for 2+ hours, remaining calm when using heavy, machinery. Loud, abrupt noises will occur during the class.
